ÅBSK is an old Baseball and Softball club with a cute little field situated in the center of Aarhus on Åbrinkvej 11, 8000 Aarhus C. The club has around 70 members and are hoping to expand even more. We know there are loads of people in and around Aarhus who would love to play Baseball or Softball - problem is they don’t know that we exist.
As an Events Project Manager you’ll be in charge of organizing events of all sorts for the purpose of recruiting both players and volunteers, reaching fans, branding, general reach etc.. With the help of your team, you’ll be responsible for contacting venues, festivals, city fairs and so on in hopes of organizing events and initiatives such as: Aarhus City Welcome, Warm Welcome Aarhus, International Student Fair (AU Introdays), Social Club events and more. You’ll have a great deal of influence on what types of events we do
On top of that, we recently got funding to buy inflatable Batting Cages, that allows us to bring cool interactive activities to kids wherever they are.
